The Ukrainian Congressional Committee of America is preparing to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence on August 20, 2022 with a festive and concert program at Navy Pier in Chicago. The celebration will last from 6 to 9 p.m., and at 10 o'clock fireworks will go off. Parking costs $20, and entrance to the celebration is free.

On Saturday and Sunday, July 9 and 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Ukrainian National Museum at 2249 W Superior St is holding its art fair, where you can buy works of fine and applied art, Easter eggs, embroidery, books and music albums. Be sure to visit!

The Institute of Modern Art at 2320 W Chicago Ave has opened a new exhibition entitled "Michel Andreenko: Revisited" (Michel Andreenko: Revisited), where you can see the largest private collection of works by this and other Ukrainian modernists of the 20th century who lived and created in Paris.
